Anodizing is a process for finishing aluminum alloys that employs electrolytic oxidation of the aluminum surface to produce a protective oxide coating
Plating and anodizing equipment is used to apply a finish to a products to increase its durability or to resist corrosion
Learn MorePlating and anodizing chemicals and supplies consist of metal salts, anodes and other consumables for the electro-deposition or electroplating of metal films or anodized layer formation
Learn MoreSurface and corrosion protection products are used to provide protection to industrial surfaces particularly in the marine, transportation, chemical process, pulp and paper, and petroleum industries.
Learn MoreRectifier diodes are designed for use in rectification circuits. Rectifiers are used to convert AC to DC
Search by Specification | Learn MorePower rectifiers are electrical devices that convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). They are an integral part of telecom rectifiers for the telecommunications industry, and in battery chargers, DC power systems, and other power system devices
Search by Specification | Learn MoreSilicon controlled rectifiers (SCR) are four-layer (PNPN) thyristors with three terminals: an input control terminal (gate), an output terminal (anode), and a terminal common to both the input and output (cathode). SCRs are used mainly with high voltages and currents, often to control alternating current (AC) where the change of sign causes the device to switch off automatically
Search by Specification | Learn MoreDiodes are electronic components that conduct electric current in only one direction, functioning as a one-way valve. Diodes are manufactured using semiconductor materials such as silicon, germanium or selenium and are used as voltage regulators, signal rectifiers, oscillators and signal modulators / demodulators
Search by Specification | Learn MoreStep recovery diodes produce an abrupt turn-off (step) time by allowing a very fast release of stored charge when switching from forward to reverse bias, and from reverse to forward bias.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreGeneral-purpose diodes are electric components that conduct electric current in only one direction, functioning similarly to a one-way valve.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreSchottky diodes in their simplest form consist of a metal layer that contacts a semiconductor element. The metal / semiconductor junctions exhibit rectifying behavior (i.e., the current passes through the structure more readily with one polarity than the other).
Search by Specification | Learn MoreZener diodes are PN junction devices that are designed to operate in the reverse-breakdown region.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreGunn diodes or transfer electron devices (TED) exhibit a negative resistance region. They are used in high-frequency applications, often for building RF oscillators. Impact ionization avalanche transit-time (IMPATT) diodes are designed to operate at very high frequency and power. They are used as elements in RF and microwave devices.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreCondition monitoring and machine maintenance services monitor the condition of critical machines, battery banks, power supplies, processes and rotary equipment. They also perform predictive maintenance (PdM) and/or preventive maintenance.
Search by Specification | Learn MorePower supplies are devices that produce AC or DC power. This grouping includes current sources, DC power supplies, AC-DC adapters, DC-DC converters, AC power sources, and DC-AC inverters.

Sulfuric anodize, commonly referred to as Type II anodizing, is formed by using an electrolytic solution of sulfuric acid at room temperature and a current density of 15 to 22 Amps per square foot. The process will run for 30 to 60 minutes depending on the alloy used. This will produce a generally clear coating, depending on sealing, a minimum of 8µm thick. (read more)
Hardcoat anodize, commonly referred to as Type III anodizing, is formed by using an electrolytic solution of sulfuric acid at approximately 32° F and a current density of 23 to 37 Amps per square foot. The process will run for 20 to 120 minutes depending on the alloy used and desired coating thickness. (read more)
