There are many urethane casting materials, making this the ideal approach when your production material is going to be a plastic injection molded resin. After your stereolithography (SLA) prototype design has been approved, the SLA part can be prepared for use as a molding pattern. Urethane molding is another phrase to describe Room Temperature Vulcanization (RTV) molding. (read more)
Paramount PDS, one of the few fully-integrated product development services specialists, offers highly-sophisticated expertise in urethane castings, which provide an important bridge between rapid prototyping and production. (read more)
Short Run Production of Parts is possible with RTV Mold Making. Once the customer approves of the initial stereolithography prototype, short-run production can then begin. If the finished product is to be made out of plastic or an epoxy-based resin, a process called RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanization) mold making is utilized (read more)
This two component urethane series are low durometer (25-90 Shore A), potting, casting, and encapsulating compounds. They are unfilled materials engineered to provide excellent hydrolytic stability and low moisture permeability. They have outstanding thermal cycling properties, low glass transition temperatures and low embedment stress to sensitive electronic components. (read more)
Interstate handles Rogers Cellular urethane Poron™ as well as Bisco™ solid and sponge silicone. These are available with and without pressure sensitive adhesive. (read more)
