Like CIP pressing services, HIP pressing services process powders and other materials into preformed metal, plastic, and ceramic parts. Cold and hot isostatic pressing services that offer HIP services can process high-performance ceramics, ferrites, and cemented carbides. They can also net-shape form nickel-base super alloys and titanium powders, compact high-speed tool steels, diffusion bond similar and dissimilar materials, and eliminate voids in aerospace castings.
